Fellow martial artists and martial arts ethusiants. The Martial Arts Ezine, due to my move to Honolulu, had been on the shelf for a few months now. I am proud, and honored for our opening article to be about a martial artists and a martial arts even run my this man, who epidimises the statement martial arts is for and can help everyone. Ever since I have known him, Terry Taylor has promoted a martial arts festival for handicaped individual. Although our introductory article is short, it states volumes, martial arts truly can benefit, everyone.

Your articles classifieds, quotes, and links are seen by martial artists and martial art enthusiasts all over the world! If you submitted an article and it wasn't in this issue of the Martial Arts Ezine, keep looking. For now I'm just going to stick with one or two articles per Martial Arts issue. I truly appreciate your contribution and it will be used in an issue of the Martial Arts Ezine. In the meantime, because you were kind enough to contribute, I will keep your classified ad and or link in the Martial Arts Ezine at least until your article appears.
Welcome to our martial arts ezine. I'm Sensei J. Richard Kirkham, your host and editor. There will be no prejudices in this martial arts ezine. We will accept articles from tournament fighters and self-defense specialists. For a short period of time, anyone who contributes to the Martial Arts Ezine can place a free advertisement with us. Who is us? All of you, the contributors, the readers, the advertisers. As I seem to be quite good with web sites, this Martial Arts Ezine will also be posted be and registered with over 1000 search engines and links. As another service I offer is to enhance a web site for search engine and sales protocols and register the web sites, http://tutor.hypermart.net/submit.html, to search engines, many people all over the world will see your articles and advertisements.
As you can see I am trying different formats and I NEED YOUR HELP. DON'T JUST UNSUBSCRIBE IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK SO I CAN CHANGE IT. Remember , I'm still a white belt in editing. Anyway some feedback would help me a great deal.

You may send your check or money order to the name below.
You may want to consider printing hard copies out of the Martial Arts Ezine and giving them to potential martial arts students or customers which contain ads or martial art articles that you have submitted. If you do this, be sure to include a phone number or address people can find your business or school. Remember, at least half of your martial art students, customers, and potential martial arts students and customers have internet access.
Place the web site address on business cards and flyers of web sites in which you have written martial arts articles. Being published world wide martial arts electronic magazine will give you even more credibility.

MARTIAL ARTS FESTIVAL FOR DISABLED PEOPLE RETURNS FOR A FOURTH YEAR The South of England Martial Arts Festival for Disabled People is returning to its home ground at Lordswood Leisure Centre, near Chatham, Kent on Thursday 13 May 1999. This will be its fourth year and will undoubtedly be just as successful as it has been ever since its inauguration in 1996. The Festival will offer taster sessions in a wide variety of martial arts including karate, judo, aikido and tai chi. Many of the instructors are once again kindly volunteering their services for this truly exciting day. Festival Organiser, Terry Taylor says: "The Festival programme has clearly demonstrated there is a demand from disabled people to regularly train as martial artists on a fully integrated basis with their able-bodied contemporaries. A number of participants from previous years have enjoyed the day so much they have gone on to join local clubs." The Festival programme has enjoyed an excellent and growing reputation ever since it began and now has a National Development Initiative by way of The National Disability Martial Arts Tour.
